Jewellery care

Omero pieces are made to last. A few simple habits keep their shine and beauty.

Avoid chemicals

Remove your jewellery before any contact with cosmetics, perfume, lotion, chlorine or household products. They can dull the metal and natural stones.

Store pieces separately

Keep each piece in its box or in its own pouch to avoid scratches and rubbing between pieces.

Gentle, regular cleaning

Clean your jewellery with a soft, dry cloth, ideally microfibre. For gold and silver, you can use lukewarm soapy water and a soft brush, then dry thoroughly. Avoid chemicals and ultrasonic cleaning, especially for natural stones.

Avoid knocks

Take your jewellery off for sport, swimming, sleeping or manual work to prevent bending, knocks and scratches.

Keep away from moisture

Moisture can tarnish some metals. Store your jewellery somewhere dry, away from direct light and heat.

Caring for satin cords

The cord can wear over time. To make it last, avoid repeated contact with water. Our workshop can replace it if needed.
